There are a few things in the universe you can rely on. Pulsars, geysers and Karl Morten Dahl aka Antipole. Because when the multi-talent from Norway unleashes something on the listeners, it is 100% perfect music experience. With the newly released Marble EP, he once again impressively shows how multi-layered post-punk can be and takes the listener into his own sound cosmos. A dream world consisting of music that runs before the inner eye and, as usual, makes all other things of everyday life secondary. In these days full of stress and inner tension due to restrictions and the subliminal fear around everyone, this is exactly the right thing to get back on track. For us personally, the opportunity to simply let go and concentrate on ourselves.
The journey begins with the first song, which sends a pleasant shiver down your spine after just a few seconds. The interwoven mix, with its unbelievable depth and countless nuances, is accompanied by Paris Alexander, who also contributes in an unbelievable way and rounds everything off to final perfection. The second track was given into the hands of Molchat Doma, the trio from Minsk who have also built up a huge following with their incomparable sound. From the calm basic model of the song, the three conjured up a song for the clubs that immediately pulls you towards the dance floor. Successful and just as catchy as the original.
Narcissus again becomes a balm for the soul with the help of Paris, warm and dreamy, the song nestles up to the listener and again invites you to close your eyes and let yourself float through the song. Someday 45 closes with an incredible 8 minutes of musical perfection.
The Marble EP from Antipole not only shows impressively how music can sound, what feelings it transports, but is also a true masterpiece that you have to know.

Es gibt ein paar Dinge im Universum auf die man sich verlassen kann. Pulsare, Geysire und Karl Morten Dahl aka Antipole. Denn wenn das Multitalent aus Norwegen etwas auf die Hörer loslässt, dann ist es zu 100% perfektes Musikerlebnis. Mit der neu erschienenen Marble EP zeigt er wieder einmal eindrucksvoll wie vielschichtig Post-Punk sein kann und nimmt den Hörer mit in seinen eigenen Klangkosmos. Eine aus Musik bestehende Traumwelt die vor dem inneren Auge abläuft und wie gewohnt alle anderen Dinge des Alltags zur Nebensache werden lässt. In den Tagen voller Stress und innerer Angespanntheit durch Restriktionen und der doch unterschwelligen Angst um alle Menschen herum genau das richtige um wieder in die Spur zu kommen. Für uns persönlich die Möglichkeit einfach loszulassen und sich ganz auf sich selbst zu konzentrieren.
Los geht die Reise mit dem ersten Song, der schon nach Sekunden einen wohligen Schauer über die Haut laufen lässt. Der verwobene Mix, mit dieser unglaublichen Tiefe und den unzählbaren Nuancen wird begleitet von Paris Alexander, der sich ebenfalls auf unglaubliche Weise einbringt und alles zur endgültigen Perfektion abrundet. Der zweite Track wurde in die Hände von Molchat Doma gegeben, das Trio aus Minsk welches ebenfalls mit ihrem unvergleichlich klingenden Sound eine riesige Fangemeinde aufbauen konnten. Aus dem ruhigen Grundmodell des Songs zauberten die drei einen Song für die Clubs, der einen sofort in Richtung Tanzfläche zieht. Gelungen und ebenso eingängig wie das Original.
Narcissus wird wieder mit Hilfe von Paris zu einem Balsam für die Seele, warm und träumerisch schmiegt sich der Song an den Hörer und lädt wieder dazu ein die Augen zu schließen und sich durch den Song schweben zu lassen. Den Abschluss bildet Someday 45 mit unglaublichen 8 Minuten musikalischer Perfektion.

Die Marble EP aus dem Hause Antipole zeigt nicht nur eindrucksvoll zeigt wie Musik klingen kann, was sie an Gefühlen transportiert sondern ist ein wahres Meisterwerk das man kennen muss.
