New Album // Tillycious – Tilly Electronics

Our beloved extraterrestrial Tilly Electronics are back with a brand new album. The album is called Tillycious and brings you eight songs for wild parties and sleepless nights.

Anyone and Anybody aka Tilly Electronics have managed to infect not only us, but all of Germany, Europe and the rest of the world with their good mood and the will to party. Belgium (Bimfest), UK, the Minicave are only a small part of the list of events at which the two have provided a fantastic atmosphere. In 2023 they will be in the US too! Because no matter how dark, hard or evil you are, at the latest with the first chorus you fall for the unique mood of planet Tilly. Lazy parties turn into raucous celebrations and formative moments.

Their mix of minimal, synth pop paired with a good portion of Italo Disco and Neue Deutsche Welle feeling runs through the new album like in the previous releases and guarantees you stubborn earworms and dancing shoes that are smoking begging for mercy. Already with the opener Tillycious and at the same time name giver for the album the two musicians show you where the journey goes. Even if you like to call the music minimal, the sound is sophisticated, multifaceted and more than rich. Knallt and Rummst neatly as one likes to say. Just the right thing to spend a wonderful moment on the dance floor between a lot of light, fog and other people.
Earworm par excellence will probably be Tilly Lollipop, which we can not get out of our ears and head since the first hearing. So much so that we couldn’t get past the lollipops even at the gas station. Coffee, cat, almond liqueurs and the elevator boys on the back seat say hello.

With Tillycious the Leipzig duo shows again that they live and love their own style. You can feel the warmth and passion they put into their project and every second of every song. Something that the fans notice and love. No wonder that the fan base is constantly growing and they have rightly advanced to the most dazzling act of the “dark” scene. We love it. Unsere heiß geliebten extraterrestrischen Tilly Electronics sind zurück mit einem brandneuem Album. Tillycious heißt die Scheibe und bringt euch acht Songs für wilde Partys und schlaflose Nächte.

Anyone and Anybody alias Tilly Electronics haben es in den letzten Jahren geschafft mit ihrer (deutschsprachigen) Musik nicht nur uns, sondern ganz Deutschland, Europa und den Rest der Welt mit ihrer guten Laune und dem Willen zur Party zu infizieren. Belgien (Bimfest), UK, das Minicave sind nur ein kleiner Teil der Liste an Veranstaltungen an denen die Beiden für ordentlich Stimmung gesorgt haben. Und in 2023 geht es sogar in die Staaten. Denn egal wie dunkel, hart oder böse man ist, spätestens beim ersten Refrain verfällt man der einzigartigen Stimmung vom Planeten Tilly. Träge Partys werden zu rauschenden Festen und prägenden Momenten.

Ihr Mix aus Minimal, Synth Pop gepaart mit einer guten Portion Italo Disco und Neue Deutsche Welle Feeling zieht sich wie bei den vorangegangenen Releases wieder durch das neue Album und garantiert euch hartnäckige Ohrwürmer und Tanzschuhe die qualmend um Gnade flehen. Schon mit dem Opener Tillycious und zeitgleich Namensgeber fürs Album zeigen euch die beiden Musiker wo die Reise hingeht. Auch wenn man die Musik gerne als Minimal bezeichnet, ist der Sound ausgeklügelt, facettenreich und mehr als satt. Knallt und Rummst ordentlich wie man gerne sagt. Genau das richtige um zwischen viel Licht, Nebel und anderen Menschen einen wunderbaren Moment auf der Tanzfläche zu verbringen.
Ohrwurm schlechthin wird wohl Tilly Lollipop werden, der uns seit dem ersten Hören nicht mehr aus den Ohren und Kopf geht. So sehr, das wir sogar an der Tankstelle nicht an den Lollis vorbeikamen. Kaffee, Katze, Mandelliköre und die Fahrstuhlboys auf dem Rücksitz lassen grüßen.

Mit Tillycious zeigt das Leipziger Duo erneut, das sie ihren eigenen Stil leben und lieben. Man merkt die Wärme und Leidenschaft die sie in ihr Projekt und jede Sekunde eines jeden Songs stecken. Etwas, das die Fans merken und lieben. Kein Wunder, das die Fangemeinde stetig steigt und sie zurecht zum schillerndsten Act der “dunklen” Szene avanciert sind. Wir lieben es.
