The synth masters from Hattiesburg, Mississippi are back with a new EP and “Options” takes the listener again into a very own world of musical sounds. With four songs, Austin Griffiths and Warren Ard have put again all of their skills into the EP. Depth and the certain amount of darkness, the existing intersection of old post-punk and new wave with modernity and of course the very own, unmistakable signature make the EP a special listening pleasure.

As always, the structure and construction of the songs and the numerous facets tempt you not only to dance, but also to simply dream your way through the world and renounce everyday life. It wouldn’t be as if you had much of a choice either, because whoever listens through the EP once will not only be thrilled, but will also run through the next few days with constantly recurring earworms.

Die Synth-Meister aus Hattiesburg, Mississippi sind zurück mit einer neuen EP und “Options” entführt den Hörer wieder in eine ganz eigene Welt der musikalischen Klänge. Mit vier Songs haben Austin Griffiths und Warren Ard alles an Klasse in die EP gesteckt wie man es von dem Duo gewohnt ist. Tiefe und das gewisse Maß an Dunkelheit, die vorhandene Schnittmenge zum alten Post-Punk und New Wave mit der Moderne und natürlich die ganz eigene, unverkennbare Handschrift machen die EP zu einem besonderen Hörvergnügen.

Wie immer verleitet die Struktur und der Aufbau der Songs und die zahlreichen Facetten nicht nur zum tanzen, sondern auch um sich einfach mal durch die Welt zu träumen und dem Alltag zu entsagen. Es wäre ja nicht so, als hätte man auch großartig eine Wahl, denn wer sich einmal durch die EP gehört, wird nicht nur begeistert sein, sondern auch mit ständig wiederkehrenden Ohrwürmern durch die nächsten Tage laufen.
