New Song // All That Is True Dies – Hallows

The duo Hallows from Seattle had already received exclusively positive reviews with the “Subtle” EP and now finally release a new song. With “All That Is True Dies” Vanee D. and Dom R. continue just as convincingly and first-class as we are used to from the EP.

The two wrap the theme “the past and its transience” in a dynamic darkwave construct, which increasingly picks up speed and becomes more complex. But already at the beginning the spark immediately jumps to the listener and captivates him with the extraordinary dark melody, which in the course goes through a transformation to the bright side. The clever use of tempo and small breaks make the song a true masterpiece that digs deep and stubbornly sticks there.

In addition, there are two equally enchanting mixes to the original. The first one is by Seattles Dead Astronauts which let their skills flow in. The third variant is an excellent version by Profit Prison and you will feel their handwriting as much as Dead Astronauts.

Last but not least, the video for the song should be put on your heart, because Vanee and Dom not only wrote the song themselves, but also produced the whole video themselves during the quarantine time. Perfectly matching the sound, the viewer gets an audiovisual masterpiece presented, which is rarely found in this form and class. You can find the video here : Video

Das aus Seattle stammende Duo Hallows hatte bereits mit der “Subtle” EP ausschließlich positive Kritiken bekommen und legt jetzt endlich einen neuen Song nach. Mit “All That Is True Dies” machen Vanee D. und Dom R. ebenso überzeugend und erstklassig weiter wie wir es von der EP gewohnt sind.

Die zwei verpacken dabei die Thematik rund um die Vergangenheit und deren Vergänglichkeit in dein dynamische Darkwave Konstrukt, das immer mehr an Fahrt aufnimmt und komplexer wird. Aber schon zu Anfang springt der Funken sofort zum Hörer über und fesselt ihn mit der außergewöhnlichen dunklen Melodie, welche im Verlauf eine transformation auf die Helle Seite durchläuft. Der geschickte Einsatz von Tempo und kleinen Pausen machen den Song zu einem wahren Meisterwerk das sich tief eingräbt und dort hartnäckig hängen bleibt.

Zusätzlich gibt es zu dem Original noch zwei ebenso bezaubernde Mixe, bei denen einmal die ebenfalls aus Seattle stammenden Dead Astronauts ihr Können mit einfließen ließen oder in der dritten Variante Profit Prison sich auf hervorragende Weise dem Song ihre Handschrift einarbeiteten.

Zu guter letzt sei euch auch noch das Video zum Song ans Herz gelegt, denn Vanee und Dom haben nicht nur den Song selber geschrieben, sondern in der Quarantäne Zeit das ganze Video selber produziert.
