In California, a new music project called SilverScene is causing quite a stir. Their new song Heart convinces with a sophisticated song structure, warm vocals and a lot of feelings.

If you take a closer look at the SilverScene project, you will recognize familiar faces from the international music scene. For one, Brian Belknap and Adam Collier, known to fans of the darker, electronic music of BlakLight, who have also been in the spotlight in the past, but also just currently with their songs. The project has been joined by singer Marie Williamson (Agency-V, Numana State & AfterDark), who is also internationally known and enchants her fans with her distinctive voice. Now the three artists add up, rather multiply their skills and create a song that sounds wonderful. It does not bear the slightly heavier signature of BlakLight. Heart is not overly dark or trimmed to be harder, but scores much more with its softer touch and the resulting feelings. A simple but quite effective design, that 100% works! The song not only burns itself quickly into the listeners memory but also let them subconsciously sing along the chorus. Heart equally offers the possibility to pay a lot of attention to the song through its numerous facets. A successful package that can be listened to in passing or enjoyed intensively with closed eyes on the couch.

The song was also given a coherent video that reflects the theme and the feelings to the smallest detail.

For the three musicians, a more than successful start of their project, that not only lets hope for more songs, but much more for a whole album. We are curious to see what the three musicians with their distinctive talents come up with for the future. We are sure it will be something great!

In Kalifornien sorgt ein neues Musik Projekt mit Namen SilverScene für ordentlich Aufsehen. Ihr neuer Song Heart überzeugt durch eine ausgeklügelte Song Struktur, warme Vocals und viel Gefühl.

Wer sich das Projekt SilverScene etwas genauer anschaut, der wird bekannte Gesichter der internationalen Musikszene erkennen. Zu einem Brian Belknap und Adam Collier, die Fans der dunkleren, elektronischen Musik von BlakLight kennen, die in der Vergangenheit, aber auch gerade aktuell mit ihren Songs ebenfalls im Rampenlicht stehen. Zu dem Projekt hinzugekommen ist Sängerin Marie Williamson (Agency-V, Numana State & AfterDark), die ebenfalls international bekannt ist und ihre Fans vor allem mit ihrer unverkennbaren Stimme verzaubert. Nun addieren, eher multiplizieren die drei Künstler ihr Können auf und erschaffen einen Song, der sich wunderbar anhört. Er trägt nicht die etwas härtere Handschrift von BlakLight. Heart ist nicht übertrieben dunkel oder auf härter getrimmt, sondern punktet viel mehr mit seiner weicheren Note und den daraus resultierenden Gefühlen. Ein einfaches, aber durchaus effektives Design. Der Songs lässt ihn nicht nur schnell ins Gedächtnis einbrennen und lässt unterbewusst den Refrain mitsingen, sondern bietet ebenso die Möglichkeit, durch seine zahlreichen Facetten dem Song viel Aufmerksamkeit zu schenken. Ein gelungenes Paket, das sich ganz nebenbei hören lässt oder intensiv mit geschlossenen Augen auf der Couch geniessen.

Dem Song wurde zusätzlich noch ein stimmiges Video spendiert, dass die Thematik und die Gefühle bis ins kleinste Detail widerspiegelt.

Für die drei Musiker, ein mehr als gelungener Auftakt ihres Projekts, dass nicht nur auf mehr Songs hoffen lässt, sondern viel mehr auf ein ganzes Album. Wir sind gespannt, was sich die drei Musiker mit ihren ausgeprägtem Talenten für die Zukunft einfallen lassen. Wir sind uns sicher, es wird etwas Großes!
