Already arrived in May and thus almost spent the first half of the year musically, now comes the best time of the year for festival fans. May until the end of September is the high season for festivals and one of the most memorable and with a lot of positive memories is the Beautiful Noise Festival in Siegen. This year already represented with the fourth edition, more precisely on 21.05, the line-up convinces also this year with extravagance and class. The special and also its unique selling point is its very special focus on the selection of artists and bands. Organizer and mastermind Michel Plügge deliberately focuses on the “female” factor and thus offers, in addition to a lot of skill, just as much “girl power” on stage. So he could win bands like Isla Ola, Box And The Twins or Brigitte Handley for his festival in the past years. Bands that impressively underline the very high level of the event, but also do not make it easier to keep exactly this. But not for Beautiful Noise, because also in the fourth version the line-up promises an exciting and memorable evening in Siegen’s Vortex Surfer Club.

Located in Siegen, right after the main train station, the Surfer Vortex Club is just the right location for such an event. The cozy and unique interior along with the just right size for a great live evening will put the crown on the already awesome evening. From experience we know that we will get the perfect mix of artists, light and sound on stage. A dream for guests and photographers, because here we were allowed to shoot some of the best photos in the quite long concert photographer career. So you see, the Beautiful Noise Festival 4 will be an absolute highlight!

Anyone who has been involved with good music in recent years will in all likelihood have already come across CULK. At the latest with their last album “Zerstreuen über euch” the band has not only won the hearts of the music landscape, but also attracted attention with articles in major newspapers. Anyone who has heard a song with Sophie Löw will never forget it. The intensity with which she hits the listener, the goose bumps that creep over the skin and how she inspires the imagination and thoughts, is unparalleled. Together with Johannes Blindhofer (guitar), Benjamin Steiger (bass, guitar) and Christoph Kuhn (drums), CULK creates a poetic post-punk that is not only addictive, but also engages the listener internally through its messages. Fingers are put into wounds and topics are addressed very concretely, but without overdoing it. It is rather a dance around the themes instead of just pointing or even raising the index finger. A basis for negotiation if you like. An experience we are already looking forward to.

The Berlin duo, who finally released their debut album this year, recently toured the US and are returning with a small European tour. Their sound is quite difficult to categorize and that’s what makes them so interesting. A great abundance of influences mix to a wonderful soundscape, which you otherwise search in vain. Fast, energetic and with proper kicking beats, the Vortex Surfer Club will be brought to a boil pretty quickly. Together with a great voice, ingenious synths and catchy melodies we look forward to extensive dancing to live music.

Exclusively Kari Sammel (Bedless Bones), Richard Powley (Telepathy) and Bruno Russo come to Siegen with their energetic Darkwave. All multi-instrumentalists, they form a great, explosive construct of sounds around the unique voice of Kari. Massive drums pull the listener along and hypnotize him with synths, guitar and vocals. Whether the approach of the songs is more quiet or brute, they always give the songs an epic experience, almost like orchestral soundtracks. An experience full of goosebumps that we definitely want to experience.

Home game have the three female musicians of Dreams in Chains, who, like the bands before them, have drawn attention to themselves with an unmistakable style. Being rocky, dark and impulsive, the trio has been making a sound for some time that clearly stands beside the mainstream and is obviously in the blood of the three musicians. Whoever has seen them live knows how much energy is in their sound and they know how to transfer it to the audience. Sometimes powerful, sometimes melancholic to explode again full of energy. Sin, Kat and KatBe will heat up the audience with their opening act at the Beautiful Noise Festival. We are looking forward to it!

Bereits im Mai angekommen und somit schon fast die erste Hälfte des Jahres musikalisch verbracht, kommt jetzt für die Festival-Fans die beste Zeit des Jahres. Mai bis Ende September ist die Hochsaison für Festivals und eins der einprägsamsten und mit viel positiven Erinnerungen im Gedächtnis gebliebenes ist das Beautiful Noise Festival in Siegen. In diesem Jahr bereits mit der vierten Ausgabe vertreten, genauer gesagt am 21.05, überzeugt das Line-Up auch dieses Jahr mit Extravaganz und Klasse. Das besondere und auch sein Alleinstellungsmerkmal ist sein ganz spezieller Fokus auf die Auswahl der Künstler und Bands. Veranstalter und Mastermind Michel Plügge setzt bewusst auf den “weiblichen” Faktor und bietet so neben viel Können ebenso viele “Girlpower” auf der Bühne. So konnte er die vergangenen Jahre Bands wie Isla Ola, Box And The Twins oder Brigitte Handley für sein Festival gewinnen. Bands, die das sehr hohe Niveau der Veranstaltung eindrucksvoll unterstreichen, es aber auch nicht leichter machen genau dieses zu halten. Nicht aber für das Beautiful Noise, denn auch in der vierten Version verspricht das Line-Up einen spannenden und erinnerungswürdigen Abend im Siegener Vortex Surfer Club.

In Siegen gelegen, ganz nach am Hauptbahnhof, ist der Surfer Vortex Club genau die richtige Location für ein solches Event. Die gemütliche und einzigartige Einrichtung zusammen mit der genau passenden Größe für einen tollen Live-Abend werden dem ohnehin schon genialen Abend die Krone aufsetzen. Aus Erfahrung wissen wir, das wir auf der Bühne den perfekten Mix aus Künstler, Licht und Sound geboten bekommen werden. Ein Traum für Gäste und Fotografen, denn hier haben wir in der doch recht langen Konzertfotografen-Laufbahn einige der besten Fotos schießen dürfen. Ihr seht also, das Beautiful Noise Festival 4 wird ein absolutes Highlight werden!

Wer die letzten Jahre sich mit guter Musik beschäftigt hat, der wird aller Wahrscheinlichkeit bereits auf CULK getroffen sein. Spätestens mit ihrem letzten Album “Zerstreuen über euch” hat die Band sich nicht nur die Herzen der Musiklandschaft erspielt, sondern auch mit Artikeln in großen Zeitungen auf sich aufmerksam gemacht. Wer einen Song mit Sophie Löw gehört hat, der wird es nie wieder vergessen. Die Intensität mit der sie auf den Hörer trifft, die Gänsehaut die sie über die Haut kriechen lässt und wie sie die Fantasie und Gedanken beflügelt, sucht ihresgleichen. Zusammen mit Johannes Blindhofer (Gitarre), Benjamin Steiger (Bass, Gitarre) und Christoph Kuhn (Schlagzeug) erschafft CULK ein poetisch angehauchten Post-Punk der nicht nur süchtig macht, sondern durch seine Botschaften den Hörer auch innerlich beschäftigt. Finger werden in Wunden gelegt und Themen ganz konkret angesprochen, jedoch ohne es zu übertreiben. Es ist vielmehr ein Tanz um die Thematiken anstatt bloßes drauf hinweisen oder gar den Zeigefinger zu heben. Eine Verhandlungsbasis wenn man so möchte. Ein Erlebnis auf das wir uns schon freuen.

Schnell, energiegeladen und mit ordentlich kickenden Beats wird der Vortex Surfer Club recht schnell zu kochen gebracht werden. Zusammen mit einer tollen Stimme, genialen Synths und eingängigen Melodien freuen wir uns auf ausgiebiges tanzen zur Live-Musik.

Exklusiv geht es weiter mit Kari Sammel (Bedless Bones), Richard Powley (Telepathy) und Bruno Russo, die mit ihrem energiegeladenen Darkwave nach Siegen kommen. Allesamt Multiinstrumentalisten, formen sie ein großartiges, explosives Konstrukt aus Klängen um die einzigartige Stimme von Kari. Wuchtige Drums ziehen den Hörer mit und hypnotisieren ihn mit Synths, Gitarre und Vocals. Egal ob der Ansatz der Songs eher leise oder brachial ist, sie verleihen den Songs immer ein episches Erlebnis, schon fast wie orchestrale Soundtracks. Ein Erlebnis voller Gänsehaut das wir unbedingt erleben wollen.

Heimspiel haben die drei Musikerinnen von Dreams in Chains, die wie die Bands zuvor mit einem unverkennbaren Stil auf sich aufmerksam gemacht haben. Rockig, dunkel und impulsiv macht das Trio schon seit einiger Zeit einen Sound, der sich eindeutig vom Mainstream abhebt und den drei Musikerinnen offensichtlich im Blut liegt. Wer sie einmal live erlebt hat, der weiß wieviel Energie in ihrem Sound steckt und es auch verstehen ihn auf das Publikum zu übertragen. Mal gewaltig, mal melancholisch um gleich wieder voller Energie zu explodieren. Sin, Kat und KatBe werden mit ihrem Auftakt beim Beautiful Noise Festival dem Publikum ordentlich einheizen.
