The headliner of the evening were no strangers to us and the Minicave Festival. Already in 2017 The Last Days Of Jesus were on the Hawerkamp and heated up the audience properly. Already since 1992 the guys are musically on the road and are known far beyond all borders. Not only because of their very catchy and cool music, the equally brilliant videos, but also because of the remarkable live shows.

Already in 2017, when we just started with our magazine, we were convinced by the sound which is an ingenious mixture of post-punk elements, rock and here and there some Batcave is sprinkled in. What makes the band really special is the noticeable fun in their own music. They don’t take everything seriously, they just play and enjoy the time on stage. Which is not to say that mistakes creep in, on the contrary the sound is fat, distinctive and simply sounds clean. With enough energy to get the crowd in front of the stage really into party. A gig like it has to be. Entertainment from the first to the last second and a playlist that really satisfied the guests. A worthy conclusion of a great festival that will be remembered for a long time.

Der Headliner des Abends waren für uns und das Minicave-Festival keine unbekannten. Schon 2017 waren The Last Days Of Jesus auf dem Hawerkamp und heizten dem Publikum ordentlich ein. Bereits seit 1992 sind die Jungs musikalisch unterwegs und sind weit über alle Grenzen hinaus bekannt. Nicht nur wegen ihrer sehr eingängigen und coolen Musik, den ebenso genialen Videos, sondern auch wegen der bemerkenswerten Live-Shows.

Schon 2017, damals gerade gestartet mit unserem Magazin, überzeugte uns der Sound der eine geniale Mischung aus Post-Punk Elementen, Rock ist und hier und mal etwas Batcave eingestreut bekommt. Was die Band allerdings richtig besonders macht ist der spürbare Spaß an ihrer eigenen Musik. Man nimmt nicht alles ernst sondern spielt drauf los und genießt die Zeit auf der Bühne. Was nicht heißen soll das sich Fehler einschleichen, im Gegenteil der Sound ist fett, markant und klingt einfach sauber. Mit genügend Energie um die Masse vor der Bühne so richtig in Fahrt zu bringen. Ein Auftritt wie er sein muss. Entertainment von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde mit einem guten Durchschnitt der Schaffensphase. Ein würdiger Abschluss eines tollen Festivals der lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.
