Our hearts and our lives have actually always been connected to dark music. The beginnings were classical, as a small child we listen to Depeche Mode and Yazoo on a continuous loop. Later, with more opportunities, the search for new music took us to other countries. One of the first was actually Canada. Later still, we developed a fascination for the people there, the landscape and, of course, the music. So it’s no wonder that we also like to go to concerts where we get to see a great show, such as the Traitrs, who have become an integral part of our dark lives. Or the terrific Girlfriends and Boyfriends, whose album Fallacy Of Fairness is our absolute favorite. No other album is played as often as this one. But above all, the music from Canada is unique, varied and full of emotion. That’s why we’ve put together 20 absolutely brilliant songs for you. You too will be big fans of dark Canadian music afterwards.

Unsere Herzen und unser Leben sind eigentlich schon immer mit dunkler Musik verbunden gewesen. Die Anfänge waren klassisch, als kleines Kind hörten wir Depeche Mode und Yazoo in Dauerschleife. Später, mit mehr Möglichkeiten, führte uns die Suche nach neuer Musik in andere Länder. Eines der ersten war tatsächlich Kanada. Später entwickelten wir eine Faszination für die Menschen dort, für die Landschaft und natürlich für die Musik. Kein Wunder also, dass wir auch gerne auf Konzerte gehen, wo wir eine tolle Show erleben, wie zum Beispiel die Traitrs, die ein fester Bestandteil unseres dunklen Lebens geworden sind. Oder die grandiosen Girlfriends and Boyfriends, deren Album Fallacy Of Fairness unser absoluter Favorit ist. Kein anderes Album wird so oft gespielt wie dieses.
