Bam! Even the very first test of the album made a good impression, because turning on the music and quickly fetching a coffee from the kitchen without looking at the volume settings first is a always a risk. With Fall Shock and their song “Feels Eternal”, however, I and especially the dog had the feeling that we had made a lightning transfer to the San Andreas trench, because the glasses in the cupboard were bouncing, the floor was vibrating and all the hair stood up for goose bumps. It’s unbelievable what energy and dynamic this album has inside. Basically everybody was already awake now anyway and so we could continue listening at high volume in the early morning. We were curious what great tracks the two musicians from Italy, more precisely Vicenza, still had to offer on their album.

The sound of the duo, consisting of Francesco (vocals, synth and sequencer) and Markus (guitar), is extremely difficult to categorize. Synthpop with Darkwave one could quickly judge, but somehow it doesn’t really fit. Let’s try to describe it a little different, you get the electronic power of a volcano and the clear infinite variety of a starry night sky. The urge to stay on the dance floor all night long until you pass out, coupled with the insatiable curiosity of a small child to explore every facet of the songs. In short, a wonderful palette of deeply popular dancefloor hits awaits you on the album. Crackling basses, massive synths, sharp guitars and the perfectly rounding vocals make every song, every second a pleasure.

Summary:
Dark, danceable, deep and every song a hit. A perfect album that should not be missing in any collection.

Bämm! Schon das allererste Antesten des Albums sorgte für ordentlich Eindruck, denn Musik anmachen und schnell einen Kaffee aus der Küche holen ohne vorher zu schauen wie die Lautstärke eingestellt ist rächt sich schon mal. Bei Fall Shock und ihrem Song “Feels Eternal” allerdings hatte ich und vor allem der Hund schon das Gefühl wir hätten einen Blitztransfer an den San Andreas Graben gemacht, denn die Gläser im Schrank hüpften, der Boden vibrierte und sämtliche Haare stellten sich zur Gänsehaut auf. Unglaublich was dieses Album für eine unsagbare Energie und Dynamik umsetzt. Im Grunde war jetzt eh schon jeder wach und so konnten wir am frühen Morgen auch weiter auf hoher Lautstärke weiterhören, was die zwei Musiker aus Italien, genauer gesagt aus Vicenza aufs Album gepackt haben.

Den Sound des Duos, bestehend aus Francesco (vocals, synth und sequencer) und Markus (guitar), zu kategorisieren fällt extrem schwer zu abwechslungsreich strömen die verschiedenen Richtungen auf den Hörer ein. Synthpop mit Darkwave könnte man jetzt schnell urteilen, irgendwie passt es aber auch nicht wirklich. Versuchen wir es ein wenig anders zu beschreiben, man bekommt die elektronische Wucht eines Vulkans und die klare unendliche Abwechslung eines nächtlichen Sternenhimmels. Den Drang die ganze Nacht bis zur Ohnmacht auf der Tanzfläche zu verweilen gepaart mit der unstillbaren Neugier eines Kleinkindes jede noch so kleine Facette der Songs zu erkunden. Kurzum gesagt, eine wunderbarer Palette aus tief gängigen Dancefloor-Krachern erwartet euch auf dem Album. Knallende Bässe, wuchtige Synths, scharfe Gitarren und den perfekt abrundenden Gesang machen jeden Song, jede Sekunde zu einem Genuss.

Fazit:
Dunkel, tanzbar, Tiefgang und jeder Song ein Kracher. Ein perfektes Album das in keiner Sammlung fehlen sollte.
