The electronic surprise of the last years, Cult Of Alia is back with a new song and shows impressively that the electronic fire from Sacramento is not extinguished yet.

With Patterns Beat Emotion the relatively long time since the release of Offerings is finally over. One almost had the fear that David Wright had lost the desire for his project. It would have been a pity, but now he is back and brings to the latest song directly an equally intense and overwhelming video. As usual, there is no stinginess with variations and energy, on the contrary, the electronic melodies and gizmos dance around you. You are pulled into this audiovisual maelstrom and after being properly shaken and sitting around with your mouth open in amazement, the very first thought is: once again. Often with electronic music you have the feeling as an observer to look at something two-dimensional, like in the cinema, but Patterns Beat Emotion is 3D of the extra class. If you have the chance to enjoy the song with a good pair of headphones, you will certainly spend the next few hours with the song, wanting to explore every nuance, no matter how small. But even loud and with a lot of bass, the song is fun and makes cups and plates bounce in the cupboards. But most of all, the song is perfect for the clubs, it drives people, will fill the dance floors and become a hit. Anyway, we are already back in Cult Of Alia fever and hope for an album soon. After the foretaste it can only become great.

Die elektronische Überraschung der letzten Jahre, Cult Of Alia ist zurück mit einem neuen Song und zeigt eindrucksvoll, dass das elektronische Feuer aus Sacramento noch nicht erloschen ist.

Mit Patterns Beat Emotion ist die doch nun schon relativ lange Zeit seit dem Release von Offerings endlich vorbei. Man hatte schon fast die Befürchtung, David Wright hätte die Lust an seinem Projekt verloren. Es wäre sehr schade gewesen, doch nun ist er zurück und bringt zum neusten Song direkt ein ebenso intensives und überwältigendes Video mit. Wie gewohnt wird nicht mit Variationen und Energie gegeizt, ganz im Gegenteil, die elektronischen Melodien und Gizmos tanzen um einen herum. Man wird in diesen audiovisuellen Mahlstrom gezogen und nachdem man ordentlich durchgeschüttelt wurde und mit offenem Mund staunend rumsitzt ist der allererste Gedanke: Noch einmal. Oftmals hat man bei elektronischer Musik das Gefühl, als Beobachter auf etwas Zweidimensionales zu blicken, wie im Kino, Patterns Beat Emotion ist jedoch 3D der Extraklasse. Wer die Chance hat den Song mit einem guten Kopfhörer zu genießen, der wird sich mit Sicherheit die nächsten Stunden mit dem Song beschäftigen, jede noch so kleine Nuance erforschen wollen. Doch auch laut und mit viel Bass macht der Song Spaß und lässt Tassen und Teller in den Schränken hüpfen. Aber vor allem ist der Song perfekt für die Clubs, er treibt die Menschen an, wird die Tanzflächen füllen und sich zum Hit entwickeln. Wir jedenfalls sind schon wieder im Cult Of Alia Fieber und hoffen auf ein baldiges Album. Nach dem Vorgeschmack kann es nur großartig werden.
