Texas seems to be experiencing a real Goth / Post-Punk renaissance at the moment, because in forums, magazines or internet you see a lot of bands from Dallas, Houston, Austin and also San Antonio. In the latter city, In A Darkend Room are currently making a name for themselves (far beyond the city limits) and are consistently garnering positive reviews. “Final Vows” is not only one of the tracks on their upcoming longplayer, but also the title of the trio’s latest video. CJ Duron (vocals, guitars), Svia Svenlava (bass, drums) and Kandi Keys (synth, percussion) have dedicated themselves to dark music and breathe not only goth and melancholy into their songs, but also a good portion of palpable warmth. Something that makes the music seem very alive and still allows the perfect amount of reverie. Vocals with goosebumps guarantee and enough power in the song to build up enough pressure.
“Final Vows” has become a real appetizer that makes us eagerly await the album.

Texas scheint im Moment eine echte Goth / Post-Punk Renaissance zu erleben, denn in Foren, Zeitschriften oder im Internet sieht man Unmengen an Bands aus Dallas, Houston, Austin und auch San Antonio. In letzterer Stadt machen gerade (weit über die Stadtgrenzen hinweg) In A Darkend Room von sich reden und heimsen durchgängig positive Kritiken ein. Final Vows ist nicht nur einer der kommenden Tracks des noch in diesen Jahr erscheinenden Longplayers, sondern auch der Titel des neusten Videos des Trios. CJ Duron (Vocals, Guitars), Svia Svenlava (Bass, Drums) und Kandi Keys (Synth, Percussion) haben sich dabei ganz der dunklen Musik verschrieben und hauchen ihren Songs nicht nur Goth und Melancholie ein, sondern auch eine ordentliche Portion spürbare Wärme. Etwas, das die Musik sehr lebendig erscheinen lässt und trotzdem das perfekte Maß an Träumerei erlaubt. Vocals mit Gänsehaut Garantie und genügend Power im Song um genügend Druck aufzubauen.
Final Vows ist damit ein echter Appetithappen geworden der uns sehnsüchtig das Album erwarten lässt.
