A Collision

We want to start the new year with an artist who convinced us right away with the first song and has been our companion on a continuous loop for a few days now. JH-X9 aka Justin Horbes from Detroit, achieves something that other artists spend their lives trying to do. To sound real. Hard, gruff electronic sound that wants to be danced to. It’s gritty, it sounds raw and has that old-school spirit that is often sorely missed today. After just a few seconds, you want to run out onto the dance floor and move around a lot. Running back and forth on the foggy dance floor and bouncing off the other dancers in a strobe light thunderstorm.
Even if Justin’s fame still stops at Europe, we think the time is coming for JH-X9, because this is the sound the scene clubs have been waiting for.
Listen to it, dance wildly in your living room and turn up the volume.

Das neue Jahr wollen wir mit einem Künstler anfangen, der uns direkt mit dem ersten Song überzeugt hat und seit ein paar Tagen in Dauerschleife unser Begleiter ist. JH-X9 aka Justin Horbes aus Detroit, schafft etwas, dass andere Künstler ihr Leben lang versuchen. Echt zu klingen. Harter, schroffer elektronischer Sound, der getanzt werden will. Es ist düster, es klingt roh und hat den Old-School Spirit den man heute oftmals schmerzlich vermisst. Schon nach wenigen Sekunden möchte man auf die Tanzfläche rennen und sich ausgiebig bewegen. Vor und zurück laufen auf der nebeligen Tanzfläche und im Stroboskop Gewitter auf die anderen Tänzer prallen.
Auch wenn sich der Bekanntheitsgrad von Justin noch vor Europa halt macht, so denken wir kommt die Zeit für JH-X9, denn das ist der Sound auf den die Szene Clubs gewartet haben.
Reinhören, wild im Wohnzimmer tanzen und die Lautstärke aufdrehen.
