Munich’s post-punk star PAAR is back with a new video for their song Beauty Needs Witness. As a release from the “Die Notwendigkeit der Notwendigkeit” album, which was already released in March, the trio came up with something very special. Ly, Rico and Matthias have brought two experienced professionals on board with Leo van Kann and assistant Marie Zrenner, both have already caused quite a stir in 2020 with the film Licht und Schatten. So it is no wonder that we get to see an equally extraordinary video to the extraordinary sound of the Munich musicians. Held in two mutually dominating colors and peppered with many close-ups, the song fits perfectly to the theme. A combination of music and image that sticks and makes you want more on possible works of the quintet. We are curious, ingenious songs for powerful videos PAAR has truly enough.

Münchens Post-Punk Stern PAAR ist zurück mit einem neuen Video zu ihrem Song Beauty Needs Witness. Als Auskopplung aus dem “Die Notwendigkeit der Notwendigkeit” Album das bereits im März erschienen ist, hat sich das Trio etwas ganz besonderes einfallen lassen. Ly, Rico und Matthias haben sich mit Leo van Kann und Assistentin Marie Zrenner gleich zwei erfahrene Profis mit ins Boot geholt, denn die beiden haben 2020 bereits mit dem Film Licht und Schatten für einiges Aufsehen gesorgt. So ist es also kein Wunder, das wir zu dem außergewöhnlichen Sound der Münchener eine ebenso außergewöhnliches Video zu sehen bekommen. In zwei sich gegenseitig dominierenden Farben gehalten und mit vielen Close-Ups gespickt passt sich der Song perfekt zur Thematik an. Eine Kombination aus Musik und Bild die Hängen bleibt und Lust auf mehr macht auf mögliche Arbeiten des Quintetts. Wir sind gespannt, geniale Songs für gewaltige Videos hat PAAR wahrlich genug.
