Even if the year 2020 was in many respects simply catastrophic, on the other hand it must be said that musically it was a blast. Great albums, captivating livestreams and the evergreen label Cold Transmission at the forefront. The family label of dark music has landed many big hits this year and in the last month of the year they will top it all with the new Zeitgeist sampler. It’s a wonderful series that is now up to volume 14 and is a story of success itself. With no less than 28 explosive tracks, the next days will not be filled with festive contemplation. Already with the first song of NNHMN from Berlin the will to use a moderate volume is gone and with each further song the desire manifests itself to let the neighbors participate in the new sampler too. No wonder, because in addition to their own bands represented on the label, the Cold Transmission team has once again shown a special hand and has searched and found the hottest bands worldwide. A must have!

Auch wenn das Jahr 2020 in vielerlei Hinsicht einfach nur katastrophal gewesen ist, so muss man auf der anderen Seite sagen das sich musikalisch einiges bewegt hat. Großartige Alben, fesselnde Livestreams und ganz vorne mit dabei das Dauerbrenner-Label Cold Transmission. Das Familien Label der dunklen Musik hat dieses Jahr viele große Würfe gelandet und setzt im letzten Monat des Jahres noch allem die Krone auf mit dem neuen Zeitgeist Sampler. Eine wunderbare Reihe, die jetzt schon auf 14 Ausgaben kommt und an sich alleine eine Erfolgsstory ist. Mit gleich 28 Tracks die richtig abgehen ist es mit weihnachtlicher Besinnlichkeit und Ruhe für die nächsten Tage vorbei. Schon mit dem ersten Song von NNHMN aus Berlin ist es mit der moderaten Lautstärke vorbei und bei jedem weiteren Song manifestiert sich der Wunsch die Nachbarn am neuen Sampler teilhaben zu lassen. Kein Wunder, denn neben den eigenen beim Label vertretenen Bands hat das Cold Transmission Team wieder ein besonderes Händchen bewiesen und weltweit nach den zur Zeit angesagtesten Bands gesucht und gefunden. Pflichtkauf!
