Swedish music genius Johan Sjöblom is back with a new release and Not A Man For You – Shameless3030 has everything an outstanding song needs.

After a few stations in well-known bands (f.e. The Exploding Boy), it was time for the Swede to realize his solo career. With an already released EP “A Victory Of Love“he impressed the fans as well as the world of music far beyond the borders of Sweden and Europe. Whatever the musician from Stockholm does, it always succeeds.

From this EP is also the present song and with help in the form of a remix of Shameless3030 we get an absolute hit suitable for the (unfortunately orphaned) dancefloors. You are quickly in the song, the chorus is on your tongue just as fast as you hear it and the beat makes your dancing leg twitch after seconds. Fine synths, with a magical melody but still enough power to leave a powerful impression combined with Johan’s voice (sometimes slightly distorted) the song creates its very own atmosphere, which crawls over your body like light goose bumps. You dream yourself into the song and once inside you can literally feel the lights of the club, the fog of the dance floor and the contagious energy. Somehow you feel catapulted into the turn of the millennium, when Future- and Darkpop conquered the world. Who doesn’t want to start to dance now?

You will also get two additional song on Bandcamp. Live recordings from the little Jonfest in Sweden, which once more prove the qualities of this musician.

Schwedens Musikgenie Johan Sjöblom ist mit einer neuen Veröffentlichung zurück und Not A Man For You – Shameless3030 hat alles was ein überragender Song braucht.

Nach einigen Stationen in namhaften Bands, die euch bekannteste sollte The Exploding Boy sein, war es Zeit für den Schweden sich auf Solopfaden zu verwirklichen. Mit einer bereits erschienenen EP “A Victory Of Love” beeindruckte er die Fans ebenso wie die Musikwelt weit über die Grenzen Schwedens und Europas hinaus. Was der Stockholmer auch anpackt, es gelingt immer.

Aus dieser EP stammt auch der vorliegende Song und mit Hilfe in Form eines Remixes von Shameless3030 bekommen wir einen absoluten Hit für die (leider verwaisten) Tanzflächen eignet. Schnell ist man drin im Song, der Refrain liegt ebenso schnell auf der Zunge und der Beat lässt schon nach Sekunden das Tanzbein zucken. Feine Synths, mit magischer Melodie und trotzdem genügend Kraft um mächtig Eindruck zu hinterlassen kombiniert mit Johans Stimme, manchmal leicht verzerrt, erschaffen ihre ganz eigene Atmosphäre, die wie eine leichte Gänsehaut die über den Körper krabbelt. Man träumt sich in den Song hinein und erst einmal drin kann man die Lichter des Clubs, den Nebel der Tanzfläche und die ansteckende Energie förmlich fühlen. Irgendwie fühlt man sich in die Jahrtausendwende katapultiert, als Future- und Darkpop die Welt eroberten. Wer bekommt da keine Lust zu tanzen?

Als Bonus bekommt der Hörer auf Bandcamp beim Kauf noch zwei Live-Stücke mit an die Hand die einmal mehr die Qualitäten des Musikers beweisen und beim kleinen Insiderfestival Jonfest aufgenommen wurden.

Fazit:
Der Song hat alles um einer, wenn nicht der “dunkle” Sommerhit 2020 zu werden. Reinhören, träumen, tanzen.
