Schonwald is a band that doesn’t need to be introduced for long, because the Italian duo Alessandra and Luca have already taken the hearts of the dark musical landscape by storm. Moreover, after their debut “Amplified Nature” in 2009 at the latest, they are at home in every good DJ collection, as well as on the shelves of the fans. Now the duo has released their latest album and the fans as well as we are in love with the new songs.

As a trendsetter or prime example, the two musicians could be called upon without a doubt, because when it comes to Post-Punk in its purest form, they score with their unrivalled atmosphere. Cool, dark and yet with a lovely warmth, they hypnotize the listeners with guitars and vocals and that over ten first-class songs. You literally dive into a new, different world and experience the music instead of just listening to it. It crawls into your ears, over your skin and finally to your soul to bind you forever to the dark wonder world. Escape uselessly.
You just want to stretch your arms far away from you and look up into the sky and dance your way through this seemingly endless world. Filigree tips, floating guitar walls, the incredible voice and in the end everything feels natural. As if everything is one piece. Pure awesomeness.

The only shortcoming of Abstraction is that it ends at some point. Luckily there is the repeat function and it is standard on most devices.

Schonwald ist eine Band die man nicht lange vorstellen muss, denn das italienische Duo Alessandra und Luca haben sich die Herzen der dunklen Musiklandschaft bereits im Sturm erobert. Zudem sind sie spätestens nach dem Debüt “Amplified Nature” aus dem Jahre 2009 in jeder guten DJ Sammlung zuhause, ebenso wie in den Regalen der Fans. Nun hat das Duo sein neustes Album veröffentlicht und die Fans sowie auch wir sind verliebt in die neuen Songs.

Als Trendsetter oder Paradebeispiel könnte man die Beiden Musiker zweifelsfrei heran ziehen, denn wenn es um Post-Punk in Reinform geht punkten sie mit ihrer unerreichten Atmosphäre. Kühl, dunkel und doch mit einer wonnigen wärme hypnotisieren sie mit Gitarren und Gesang die Hörer und das hinweg über zehn erstklassige Songs. Ihr taucht im wahrsten Sinne in eine neue, andere Welt und erlebt die Musik anstatt sie nur zu hören. Sie kriecht in eure Ohren, über die Haut und schlussendlich zur Seele um euch für immer an die dunkle Wunderwelt zu binden. Entkommen zwecklos.
Man möchte nur noch die Arme weit von sich strecken in den Himmel schauen und sich tanzend durch diese scheinbar unendliche Welt tanzen. Filigrane Spitzen, schwebende Gitarrenwände, hinzukommend die unglaubliche Stimme und zum Schluss fühlt sich alles natürlich an. Als wäre alles eins. Wahnsinn.

Einziges Manko das Abstraction besitzt ist das sie irgendwann endet. Zum Glück gibt es die Repeat-Funktion und die gibts zum Glück standardmäßig zu den meisten Geräten.
