One of the nice things about autumn is that you can go in search of good music again and find it. In this case even wonderful music in the form of a debut EP called “Wave” of the solo project N.A.N – Not A Number. The mastermind behind the project is Bernard Collot from Reims in the north-eastern part of France and he seems to have the music in his blood. He really manages to impress with his three tracks and gives you goose bumps every single second. He adds a fitting portion of Shoegaze to the wonderful mix of Post-Punk and Shoegaze and completes it off with his powerful but well dosed voice. Wonderfully suited to the time of year to linger on the couch dreaming and enjoying life. But not only, because it is also wonderful to dance to the songs.
We will definitely keep looking forward to Reims and are looking forward to the next releases of N.A.N – Not A Number.

Eine der schönen Seiten des Herbst ist es, das man wieder auf die Suche nach guter Musik gehen kann und sie auch findet. Im vorliegenden Fall sogar wundervolle Musik in Form einer Debüt-EP mit Namen Wave des Solo-Projektes N.A.N – Not A Number. Der Kopf hinter dem Projekt ist Bernard Collot aus Reims das im nordöstlichen Teils Frankreichs liegt und ihm scheint die Musik im Blut zu liegen, denn er schafft es mit den drei Tracks ordentlich zu beeindrucken und Gänsehaut zu zaubern. Die gelungene Mischung verschiedener Stile wie Post-Punk und Coldwave versetzt er mit einer passenden Portion Shoegaze und rundet es mit seiner kraftvollen, aber wohl dosierten Stimme ab. Herrlich passend zur Jahreszeit um träumend auf der Couch zu verweilen und das Leben zu genießen. Aber nicht nur, denn es lässt sich auch wunderbar tanzen zu den Stücken.
Wir werden auf jeden Fall immer wieder nach Reims schauen und freuen uns auf die nächsten Veröffentlichungen von N.A.N – Not A Number.
