We have caught a quite wonderful new song for you today from the new releases. Slowly by Mystic Echo has everything that makes a music lover drift back to the dark 80s.

Mystic Echo is the one-man project of Ignace De Lamper from Belgium and the musician seems to be extremely talented when it comes to making soulful and deep music. As already mentioned, the main structure of the songs is very much connected with the eighties. Ignace combines a lot of romance, melancholy and also mixes all kinds of additional emotions into his music. While his predecessors, such as Tide, are more oriented towards danceable synthpop, Slowly embraces quieter moments. Guitars that brush over the listener’s skin and with the calm, yet energetic voice not only grow into something great, but already reach anthem status. Goosebumps and well-being from the first to the last second. Staying focused on Slowly gets harder with every second of the song, too many memories are conjured up by the song and makes your heart feel heavier and heavier. No matter where you are, you close your eyes and leave the here and now. We love music that can do that!

Einen ganz wunderbaren, neuen Song haben wir heute aus den neuen Veröffentlichungen für euch gefangen. Slowly von Mystic Echo hat alles was einen Musikliebhaber zurück in die dunklen 80er treiben lässt.

Mystic Echo ist das Ein-Mann Projekt von Ignace De Lamper aus Belgien und der Musiker scheint äußerst talentiert zu sein, wenn es darum geht, gefühlvolle und tiefe Musik zu machen. Wie bereits erwähnt ist die Hauptstruktur der Songs sehr mit den Achtzigern verbunden. Ignace verbindet dabei jede Menge Romantik, Melancholie und mischt dazu noch allerlei zusätzliche Emotionen in seine Musik. Während seine Vorgänger wie z.B Tide sich mehr an tanzbaren Synthpop orientieren, nimmt Slowly ruhigere Momente in sich auf. Gitarren, die über die Haut des Hörers streichen und mit der ruhigen, doch energiegeladenen Stimme nicht nur zu etwas großem wachsen lassen, sondern schon Hymnen-Status erreicht. Gänsehaut und Wohlbefinden von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde. Bei Slowly konzentriert zu bleiben fällt mit jeder Sekunde des Songs schwerer, zu viele Erinnerungen beschwört der Song und lässt das Herz schwerer und schwerer werden. Egal wo man sich befindet, man schließt die Augen und verlässt das Hier und Jetzt. Wir lieben Musik die so etwas kann!
