ZUG – Zona Utopica Garantita – Minicave Festival 2021

With a crowd already heated up by the Pinoreks in front of the stage, the second act ZUG – Zona Utopica Garantita was on stage and not only we were curious how the guys from Italy would do. We had already seen the musicians in a live stream and now burned to be able to experience them live on stage. Frasco, Jules, Danilo and Misha quickly had the crowd and me under control. Fast sound and driving beat are the trademark of the band. A mixture that could be called the “sound of the good old days” and conjures up numerous memories of great bands without giving the impression that you are listening to a cover band. ZUG are an original and show that clearly besides the music with their stage show, which perfectly matches the sound. No wonder, because if you take a closer look at the musical past of the band members, you quickly notice how much musical background and experience is on stage. Since 2019 on the road and just with new EP on the road ZUG has shown with much impression how to transfer a lot of energy to the audience and we are sure, we will see the band even more often on stages.

Mit einer bereits durch die Pinoreks ordentlich aufgeheizten Menge vor der Bühne stand nun mit ZUG – Zona Utopica Garantita der zweite Act auf der Bühne und nicht nur wir waren gespannt wie sich die Jungs aus Italien machen würden. Wir hatten die Musiker schon im Live-Stream gesehen und brannten jetzt darauf sie auf der Bühne erleben zu können. Schnell hatten Frasco, Jules, Danilo und Misha die Masse und mich im Griff. Schneller Sound und treibender Beat sind das Markenzeichen der Band. Eine Mischung die man als “Sound der guten, alten Zeit” bezeichnen könnte und zahlreiche Erinnerungen an tolle Bands herauf beschwört ohne das der Eindruck erweckt wird, man höre eine Cover-Band. ZUG sind ein Original und zeigen das auch deutlich neben der Musik mit ihrer Bühnenshow, die sich perfekt an den Sound anlehnt. Kein Wunder, denn wenn man genauer hinschaut auf die musikalische Vergangenheit der Bandmitglieder fällt einem schnell auf wieviel musikalischer Background und Erfahrung sich auf der Bühne tummelt. Seit 2019 unterwegs und gerade mit neuer EP unterwegs hat ZUG mit viel Eindruck gezeigt wie man viel Energie auf das Publikum überträgt und wir sind uns sicher, die Band werden wir noch öfter auf Bühnen sehen.
